The 19th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Sgt. Maj. Troy E. Black, tours VMFA-314, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego, Ca, Feb. 11, 2021. The Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps conducted the visit to speak to Marines, especially those that work on the newest Marine aviation platform, the F-35. Marine Aircraft Group 11 generates, embarks, and integrates relevant, combat ready aviation forces capable of providing Offensive Air Support, Anti-Aircraft Warfare, Assault Support, Aerial Reconnaissance, and terminal area Control of Aircraft.
