The 19th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Sgt. Maj. Troy E. Black, attends a Uniform and Equipment Senior Leader Engagement hosted by Marine Corps Systems Command at Marine Corps Base Quantico, V.A., Oct. 22, 2020. The purpose of the event was to educate leaders on gear improvements and the role that training and education plays in properly employing the latest advancements in individual gear as well as to discuss opportunities that may positively impact the availability and fit of uniforms, personal protective equipment, and load-bearing devices.
