The 19th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Sgt. Maj. Troy E. Black, talks with the leadership of Marine Corps Embassy Security Group at Marine Corps Base Quantico, V.A., Sept. 9, 2020. The meeting covered the Marine Security Augmentation (MSAU) Unit. THe mission of MSAU, in support of the Department of State, is to direct rapidly deployable, specifically trained, augmentation elements to provide security at designated United States diplomatic and consular facilities in order to protect the United States diplomatic personnel and prevent the compromise of national security.
