The 19th Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps, Sgt. Maj. Troy E. Black attends the Training and Education Command (TECOM) change of command ceremony at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Quantico, V.A., Aug. 3, 2020. The change of command transitioned TECOM for a two-star command to a three-star command. The change supports the Commandant’s Planning Guidance, as Gen. Berger’s intent to change the Service Level Training and Education from an Industrial Age model to an Information age model to better serve Marines and units for future operating environments.
