Marine Minute: 07-25 (AUDIO)
LAST WEEK, MARINES WITH THE 31ST MARINE EXPEDITIONARY UNIT PERFORMED A MASS CASUALTY EXERCISE AT KIN BLUE BEACH ON OKINAWA, JAPAN. TRAINING LIKE THIS ENSURES MARINES ARE ABLE TO RESPOND RAPIDLY FROM SHIP TO SHORE IN THE EVENT OF MASS MEDICAL EMERGENCIES.

OUR PHOTOS OF THE WEEK WERE TAKEN BY CPL. ALFONSO LIVRIERI, CAPTURING MARINES WITH 2ND MARINE LOGISTICS GROUP PERFECTING THEIR SKILLS IN AN ARCTIC ENVIRONMENT.

THE COLD WEATHER TRAINING TOOK PLACE IN SETERMOEN, NORWAY DURING EXERCISE JOINT VIKING 25. THE EXERCISE PROVIDES A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY FOR MARINES TO TRAIN IN A COLD WEATHER ENVIRONMENT AND ALLOWS THEM TO ENHANCE INTEROPERABILITY WITH NATO ALLIES.

THAT’S YOUR MARINE MINUTE. FOR MORE STORIES VISIT MARINES.MIL AND ALL THE MARINE CORPS SOCIAL MEDIA PAGES.
